Antonio Rudiger’s reputation at Real Madrid has taken another knock after a week of high tensions in training.
Footage was revealed of the German defender grabbing and smacking Madrid’s kit man.
While Rudiger appears to find the incident amusing, the kit man looks very much disturbed.
Now, another story has emerged that he also had a physical exchange with left back Álvaro Carreras, who confirmed the incident took place.

“Regarding the incident with a teammate, it was a minor, isolated matter that has already been resolved,” he wrote on Instagram.
“My relationship with the entire team is excellent. Hala Madrid!”
Carreras arrived in the summer from Benfica in a deal worth around €50million.
He proved to be one of the best summer signings for Real, but he’s since dropped out of the squad under Alvaro Arbeloa.
In fact, last time out against Espanyol, third choice left back Fran Garcia was chosen over him when Ferland Mendy got injured early on.
Carreras was caught raising his eyebrows and grinning by the live cameras, and also sought to address that fallout.
“In recent days, certain insinuations and comments about me have arisen that do not correspond to reality,” he said in the same statement.
“My commitment to this club and to the coaches I’ve had has been unwavering from day one, and it will continue to be so.
“Since my return, I have always worked with the utmost professionalism, respect, and dedication.
“I have fought very hard to fulfill my dream of coming home.”
Rudiger’s hit list
As for Rudiger, his track record is starting to get extensive.
In April 2024 he was reportedly involved in another training ground fight with Jude Bellingham.
And in May of 2025 he completely flew off in front of the world’s eyes at the end of a Copa del Rey final defeat to Barcelona, throwing a bag of ice at the referee.
As recently as April he also flew into Bayern Munich’s Josip Stanisic who made some allegations post match.
“He sees me coming and just goes for me,” Stanisic said.
“One word was used, and it was used twice. Maybe he’s man enough to admit it.
“I don’t want to say anything now because I’m not someone who wants to cause bad blood. But I think something like that is unacceptable.”
