Everyone was hoping for some needle between Antonio Conte and Lautaro Martinez, but no one expected it to kick off quite so much.
The pair were put back together again as Conte’s Napoli beat Martinez’s Inter 3-1 in Serie A to go back to the top of the league.
They both clashed previously when they worked together at Inter when Martinez kicked a bottle in anger at a substitution against Roma in 2021 and Conte chastised him angrily.
Martinez said to sort things out in the tunnel and the pair later staged a joke boxing match at the Inter training ground.
However, when Denzel Dumfries made a strong tackle in front of Conte with the score 2-1, it all kicked off again.
Dumfries and Conte were separated on the touchline, but then Martinez appeared on the scene gesturing towards Conte with his hand.
Corriere dello Sport claim Conte was then heard telling officials ‘they have to respect me’ before grabbing his crotch in a gesture and yelling ‘this asshole!’
