Damien Comolli is working hard on identifying Juventus’ next head coach despite not yet being announced as their sporting director.
Multiple reports claim the former Liverpool and Tottenham executive will be announced in the coming days, and Corriere dello Sport go further, saying he’s started work already.
The Frenchman reportedly held a meeting with his new assistant Giorgio Chiellini and Juve chairman John Elkann in Munich after the Champions League final.
There they drew an outline for the new campaign, and agreed that the team has to be based around Kenan Yildiz.
The also discussed Stefano Pioli and Roberto Mancini as leading candidates to manage Juve next season, but Comolli has two other ideas.
The outlet claims that Bruno Genesio of Lille and Marco Silva of Fulham are more fitting for Comolli’s data and algorithm-based approach.
Sky Italia have already reported that Silva is a leading candidate, and contacts have been established with agent Jorge Mendes.
