Alphonso Davies is set to be left with a tough decision in the summer of 2024.

The Bayern Munich megastar left-back will be entering the final year of his contract, and Real Madrid are circling.

The fee of €50million is understood not to be an issue, but now Marca report that Bayern have put more money on the table for an extension.

The German champions are willing to pay €10m-per-year in salary for the Canadian, with negotiations expected to end up closer to €15m.

However, Madrid have signalled that they’re unwilling to reach the €10m mark, leaving Davies with a tough decision.

Marca say the 23-year-old will have to ‘choose between money and fame’ and site Jude Bellingham as an example, with the Englishman having more money on the table if he joined the Premier League.

Instead, he chose Real, and hasn’t looked back, with the club’s stature so alluring that even Davies could yet be convinced.
