There were disgraceful scenes in Porto as fighting broke out at the annual members meeting.

Around 400 members were in attendance for the general assembly, which was canceled due to fighting among ultras who wanted to attend.

The meeting has been postponed to November 20, and potential presidential candidate Andre Villas-Boas commented on the situation.

“This is one of the darkest days in the history of FC Porto,” he said.

“Without shame, without scruples, without any respect for the Members of this great Club.

“On November 20th, the Members will be present again. FC Porto needs to find its principles, its values, and its foundations. What happened today can never happen again.”
