Lamine Yamal is so good that he’s even earning praise from Real Madrid legends.
The Barcelona sensation has broken through as one of the world’s elite this season despite being just 17.
Now seen as one of the lead candidates to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or, Lamine won a domestic treble with Barca but failed to add the big one in the Champions League.
Hansi Flick’s side were beaten at the semi-final stage by Inter Milan, but it was in the second leg where Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane was most impressed.
Lamine didn’t even score in the 4-3 thriller, but he did hit the woodwork and run Inter raggid.
Remembering the game, Zidane said: “When you see him play, for example, the second leg he played against Inter in the Champions League semi-finals, I’ve never seen that before in my life.
“It’s impressive to see someone who masters his craft like that on the pitch.
“It was quite fabulous to see him like that, which is why we all enjoyed it, and why, for all these young players, well, they already have Lamine.”
