Zinedine Zidane could manage Real Madrid for a third time due to key advantage

Zinedine Zidane has been linked with a sensational third stint as Real Madrid manager.

The France legend, who won three Champions League titles as Real manager, hasn’t been mentioned in the running to replace Carlo Ancelotti.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso appears to be the runaway favourite, but according to reports in Spain, Zidane is open to a return, and his relationship with Kylian Mbappe could be crucial.

“Zidane would like to come back and, knowing the relationship with Mbappé, it would also bring him closer to Madrid,” said José Alvarez of El Chiringuito.
