That should be a wrap on Lamine Yamal’s controversial Real Madrid comments, at least until kick-off tomorrow afternoon.
The Barcelona megastar has caused plenty of debate by saying a rival Kings League team ‘complains and steals like Real Madrid’.
The remark has sparked plenty of condemnation, and Madrid‘s Xabi Alonso didn’t want to get involved, although he did appear to make a small dig at their Clasico rivals.
“Are we going to come back to this again?” he said after dismissing multiple Lamine questions at his press conference.
“What I predict is that it will be an intense and hard-fought match. I’m not going to go into details.
“There are a lot of statements from people at Barcelona, and I can’t analyse them all. The most important thing is what happens on the pitch.”
“Our opponent has created an unfair environment,” he said. “Everything they’re doing on their television channels influences and influences the referees. I
“t’s not the right way to proceed. I see it more as a strategy to win.
“They can’t say that the referees are hurting them, nor that they are helping us. In any case, we see it as part of their strategy.”
