Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos and his brother Felix have officially received their membership packages from Newcastle.
The pair, who host a very popular podcast together, made the announcement this week.
Toni had earlier joked about his love for the club due to one player, and many may have expected it would be fellow countryman Nick Woltemade.
However, speaking after Dan Burn’s performance in a 3-2 defeat to Liverpool, he said: “I will register as a Newcastle member today.
“A real nasty brat. Ten seconds before every corner and every throw-in, he pushed everyone at least once.”
Now confirming a response from the Magpies, Kroos said: “We can announce: We are officially members of Newcastle United.
“Newcastle stuck with it. We’re very satisfied, very happy.”
The brothers received a welcome package from the club including a personalised home shirt each.
And to top it off, Burn sent them a message, thanking them for their kind words.
