Long time Roma prospect Edoardo Bove is set to annul in contract in Italy ahead of a potential move to England.
The Italian midfielder collapsed while playing on loan at Fiorentina on December 1st, 2024, due to a heart issue.
He hasn’t played since, but has had a subcutaneous defibrillator (ICD) implanted and has returned to full intensity training.
Yet due to rules in Serie A and Italy, no club in the country can insure a player to play with such a device.
The situation is a repeat of what happened while Christian Eriksen was playing for Inter, and like Eriksen he also looks set to move to England as a result.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim several Premier League clubs are looking at Bove, ready to sign him as a free agent once his Roma deal is terminated.
