Roberto De Zerbi could be sacked at Marseille after a humiliating exit from the Champions League.
RMC Sport claim that discussions are underway between the Italian and his bosses after an embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Club Brugge saw OM dumped out of Europe.
In the previous match Marseille beat Lens 3-1 to knock them off Ligue 1 top spot, but De Zerbi could now be dethroned ahead of taking on Paris FC this weekend.
The squad is in Paris training, but RMC report that the session was taking by coaching staff with talking ongoing between De Zerbi and his bosses.
The Italian previously tied his future to that of sporting director Medhi Benatia, but the club great was extremely critical of the team after the Champions League exit.
“I hope the players realize that tonight was a professional mistake,” he said.
“I’ve lost matches in my career, but I’ve rarely felt this sense of shame, conceding six goals in two games.
“I want this to have consequences for the rest of the season.”
