Robert Lewandowski’s former agent Cezary Kucharski has launched an astonishing attack on his former client.
Kucharski managed the Barcelona and Poland striker before he switched to Pini Zahavi, and by the sounds of things he’s pretty happy about it.
Poland manager Michal Probierz stepped down from his role earlier this month after Lewandowski refused to play for him, and that behaviour is nothing new according to Kucharski.
“Robert Lewandowski has once again fired a national coach,” he told Sport1.
“Until now, he questioned the coach’s authority behind his back when he disagreed with him.
“Now he did it officially, publicly declaring that he had lost confidence in the national team coach and was retiring from the national team.”
He continued: “He’s a fantastic player, but not a good person. He thinks he’s a king – and that’s how he treats others.
“He even developed marketing strategies for how he should communicate and behave. I remember the first point of his strategy being the archetype of the ‘ruler.’
“Lewandowski likes to slander or manipulate – and will even lie publicly if he has a problem with someone.
“He often demonstrated a sense of superiority. I still remember him leaving the office after signing his contract with FC Bayern in December 2016 and saying to me, ‘I’m going to earn as much as all the national players combined’.”
