Neymar is set to return to Brazil’s squad for World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina.
The Selecao’s all-time top scorer hasn’t featured for his country since October 2023, but GloboEsporte reports that head coach Dorival Júnior is bringing him back into the fold.
The veteran manager has been to watch Neymar’s impressive return to Santos to ratify his decision.
Neymar will be returning to a disaster area, though, with Brazil at risk of not qualifying for a World Cup for the first time ever.
With only six South American teams making the 2026 competition, Brazil are currently fifth and could drop out with two tough games coming up.
The second of which is against Argentina on March 26, where Neymar will have to put his friendship with Lionel Messi to one side or risk things getting even worse.
