Luis Enrique told Marco Verratti he ‘detested’ him before PSG exit

Luis Enrique didn’t hold back on Marco Verratti, according to Le Parisien.

The Spaniard, who joined the Ligue 1 champions this summer, had a major clearout of his squad.

Neymar was sent to Al Hilal, while Julian Draxler and Verratti were both offloaded to the Qatar Stars League.

Italy regular Verratti joined Al-Arabi in a massive climb down from the top of the game.

But apparently he didn’t have much choice, with the French media reporting Luis Enrique told him “you are the prototype of the player that I detest.”
