Luis Enrique has watched the first half of PSG’s last to matches from the stands, and looks set to continue the coaching technique on a permanent basis.
Saying he was inspired by rugby coaches, the Spanish innovator has used a bird’s eye view perspective to help his team to two recent wins.
Now the Parc des Princes will have a dedicated area installed for next weekend’s match against Auxerre, as per RMC Sport.
However, Luis Enrique won’t be watching the first half of this weekend’s game from the stands, as it’s against PSG’s fiercest rivals Marseille.
“Away from home, I don’t dare,” he said after a victory against Atalanta.
“Especially for my physical well-being, which is not at its best at the moment [referring to his broken collar bone].
“It’s better not to play with fire. I’ll be down there with my players to feel the heat.
“It’s a classic of French football, a match that everyone wants to play and coach in an intense atmosphere. It’s always attractive for all the players.”
