The archives are open, and Kylian Mbappe will be wishing they weren’t.
The Real Madrid striker has seen former side PSG go from strength to strength since his 2024 departure, adding their first two Champions League titles as soon as he left.
Mbappe is often faced with a resurfaced clip of Luis Enrique telling him how to press, something he’s yet to work out while his old teammates shine at it.
However, more old material has come up from 2023 when he became PSG’s all-time top scorer.
Mbappe broke the record with his 201st goal in March that year, and made a joke that has since aged absolutely horrifically.

Paris were trying to make a comeback against Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League, and Mbappe was asked if his future at the club depended on success in the competition.
“If the Champions League were a problem, I would have left already,” he said, in a joke about PSG’s inability to win the competition at the time.
Well he did leave, and PSG are only the second team in the Champions League era to win back-to-back titles.
The other? Mbappe’s Madrid – unstoppable in the competition until he came along…
