Fenerbahce fans dislike of Jose Mourinho will have only increased with the news the Benfica coach cost them close to €1million in hotel bills.
Mourinho, who left at the start of the season following a trophyless debut campaign, has fired numerous digs at the Turkish Super Lig side since leaving, including saying they weren’t up to his level.
Now, according to Turkish outlet Yeniçag Gazetesi, he left a 36.5million liras (€747,000) bill from his premier suite at the Istanbul Four Seasons where he lived for 15 months.
With it remains to be seen who will foot the bill, Mourinho is reportedly already owed a massive €15m contract termination clause from his forgettable time in Turkey.
