Carlo Ancelotti is facing crunch time with Florentino Perez.
MARCA have reported that following a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League Los Blancos coach has been summoned by his employer.
A meeting will take place before Madrid face city rivals Getafe in LaLiga.
Real were humbled 4-0 in El Clasico by Barcelona and then 3-1 by AC Milan. Ancelotti appeared to have turned the tide with two simple league wins against Osasuna and Leganes, but against tougher competition, they were again shown up.
Last season’s champions now sit 24th in the Champions League league phase and are on the brink of disaster should they exit the competition.
Madrid have already drawn up a list of replacements for Ancelotti with various people at the club turning on him.
It’s understood that he retains the support of the squad’s leadership group which is led by Luka Modric, but Perez’s previous backing could be wavering.
