In the 22nd minute of the top flight meeting Radnik Kragujevac coach Mladen Žižović fell ill and then he lost consciousness.
The 44-year-old Bosnian collapsed on the touchline and immediately received medical treatment with the game stopped.
The match later resumed, but in the 41st minute the referee then stopped it after being told that Žižović had tragically died.
Pictures said it all as players from both sides collapsed to the floor in tragic scenes with the stadium united in instant grief.
