Shocking images have emerged from Barcelona‘s Camp Nou were fighting broke out on Friday.
The stadium, which has been under construction since June 2023 and is now in the process of being rebuilt after it was partially torn down, witnessed some ugly scenes.
A group of around 30 workers, reportedly imported from Romania and Albania, began pushing and shoving before sticks of wood were seen being swung.
Six of those involved were injured, although not seriously, while several have been fired from their jobs.
Local police were forced to intervene and have opened up an investigation to establish what caused the fighting.
The workers were employed by a Turkish sub-contractor called Limak.
