Usually one of football’s more jolly strikers, Victor Osimhen was booked for a bizarre show of anger in Nigeria’s 3-2 win over Tunisia.
The Galatasaray forward scored the opener in a thriller as he expertly nodded in an Ademola Lookman cross, but he was still annoyed about an earlier offside call having already put the ball in the net.
There was no doubt about this one, and Osimhen whipped off his trademark mask before jogging over to the linesman, pointing at him and clapping his fingers together in a talking gesture.
It all seemed like fun and games, but the rest of the Nigeria team quickly realised it wasn’t and had to calm down their talisman as a yellow card was whipped out and things threatened to spiral.
