Things are getting serious for Edin Terzic at Borussia Dortmund.
With BVB now out of the Bundesliga title race and slowly fading away from the riches of Champions League football next season, head coach Edin Terzic is finally under pressure.
The German giants are now without a win in six in all competitions, a bizarre feat considering they topped their Champions League group of death.
But, their last two results have sent alarm bells ringing, with draws against very beatable opposition in Augsburg and Mainz.
CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, an ardent Terzic supporter, was seen leaving his box early after the 1-1 tie in Augsburg, and now Sky are reporting that he had a crisis meeting with sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
The meeting lasted from 16:30 to 00:30, with a decision seemingly yet to be made on Terzic’s future.
However, since the following Mainz draw, both of the Dortmund directors have uncharacteristically refused to talk to the media, meaning Terzic could be in big trouble.
