Four time Premier League winner with Man United Nani is expected to sign with Kazakhstan side Aktobe FC in the coming days.
Leading Portuguese outlet A Bola claim the Euro 2016 winner is ready to cut his retirement short having not played since November 2024.
Nani, a great for both Manchester United and Sporting, last played back home in Portugal for Estrela da Amadora.
The deal in Kazakhstan is expected to be completed imminently, meaning Nani will make a playing return aged 39.
The report adds that this is a long term project by Aktobe FC, with Nani to be offered an ambassadorial role after he finishes plating.
Aktobe play in the top tier in Kazakhstan and with teams from the nation now having success in Europe, the plan will be the same for Nani’s new side when the new season begins in March.
