Serhou Guirassy has been spotted at Dortmund airport after failing his medical with the Bundesliga giants.
The Stuttgart striker was set to be named a Borussia Dortmund player in a €18million deal on a four-year contract, but things have quickly gone awry.
The Guinean had arrived at the club’s training ground and just as BVB fans were awaiting signing photos, the club put out a worrying statement.
“During a medical examination of Serhou Guirassy, an injury was discovered that requires further investigation,” they wrote on social media.
BILD and Sky have claimed that Dortmund’s doctors found an external ligament injury in Guirassy’s right knee and the club want a second opinion before progressing.
So worried are they that Guirassy has already left, with local outlet Ruhr Nachrichten showing a video of him at the airport heading to Paris on a private jet.
