Real Valladolid owner Ronaldo is facing yet more trouble from fans of his LaLiga side.
The already relegated team lost again at the weekend, this time 2-1 to Barcelona, extending their losing run to eight games, something they haven’t done in almost a century.
Ronaldo wasn’t at the match and was spotted a few hours later leaving a restaurant looking worse for wear.
Stumbling down the stairs in front of a group of fans, he was protected by security guards who held up a sheet to try and stop images being taken.
They were too late, though, and Valladolid fans soon found out.
The Federation of Valladolid Supporters’ Clubs reposted the video on social media and attached a damning statement.
“This is the current president and majority shareholder of Real Valladolid,” the began.
“This video is being circulated on social media, presumably from yesterday, as the club he owns was making history by losing eight consecutive matches for the first time in its nearly 100 years.
“This is his legacy and what concerns him.
“Let its image be seen all over the world. Our Real Valladolid is not dying, it is being killed, and every day that passes without a sale, the hole becomes deeper.”
Ronaldo bought Valladolid in 2018 but in 2024 announced the end of his club ownership with the sale of Cruzeiro.
He said Valladolid ‘would be next’ but a buyer is yet to arrive.
