Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman has passed comment on the situation at former club Ajax.
The vastly-experienced coach, who managed the Amsterdam giants between 2001 and 2005, briefly commented on his old club during an international press conference.
Ajax are currently in the Eredivisie relgation zone having undergone their worst-ever league start after six games.
Asked if he would go back to his old side, Koeman said: “I don’t feel comfortable being there right now.
“It’s crazy what’s happening. When you watch Ajax matches you are shocked by the level.
“AZ has lost so many players and yet wins so easily in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.”
