Real Madrid sued for €16million by catering company as Bernabeu woes continue

Real Madrid are facing a new legal problem courtesy of the new Santiago Bernabeu.

El Confidencial claim that Anastia Gourmet have opened a lawsuit worth €16.5million over the Sky Bar at the Madrid stadium.

The company are paying to operate the bar, but the Spanish outlet claims they have been refused access since September with works continuing at the Bernabeu.

Anastia Gourmet claim €7m of the lawsuit is owed to suppliers like Schweppes or Heineken and the rest is from a lack of earnings.

This isn’t the first court case involving the new Bernabeu, with local complaints over noise pollution cancelling three major concerts at the venue.
