Jose Mourinho showed plenty of love to Roma fans after his sacking, but not the players.
Mourinho was fired on January 16 after a dire run of results and performances and he made a teary departure.
A Europa Conference League winner and Europa League finalist, Mourinho struggled to get his players going in his third season.
Having publically attacked several members of his squad, the Portuguese appeared to be running out of ideas for motivations and tactics.
And on his departure, it’s been revealed he left a brutal message.
Il Messaggero report that when Roma won the Conference League, the players gifted Mourinho a championship ring.
However, upon his departure, the ring was placed in Lorenzo Pellegrini’s locker with the message: “When you become men, you will give it back to me.”
