Victor Osimhen may not be able to stop flirting with Juventus, but that doesn’t mean that Galatasaray fans don’t still love him.
The most expensive signing in Turkish Super Lig history continued to prove his worth in the Champions League, setting up the winner against Liverpool and nearly scoring another.
That came after he had to settle himself from a beautiful pre-match tribute.
Gala fans erected a banner showing Osimhen with his family walking into the distance with his mother looking on.
Underneath it read: “We are family and family is everything.”
Osimhen has spoken about the loss of his mother before and that he barely remembers her.
“My mother’s death still hurts me,” he told The Players’ Tribune.
“She never lived long enough to enjoy the things she sacrificed so much for.
“My mother died when I was two or three years old. Too young to remember anything—except holding me in her arms.”
