Fenerbahce have ticked three key boxes in their pursuit of Mohamed Salah.
The Turkish Super Lig runners-up are reportedly chasing the impending Liverpool free agent who has a series of demands.
The first and most obvious is staying in Europe, which Fener can not only offer, but also the possibility of Champions League footballer with qualifiers to play at the start of next season.
On top of that, leading Turkish outlet Sabah claims that not only have they offered him €10million per-year, similar to what he’s on at Liverpool, but a three-year deal, the kind of stability others aren’t willing for a 33-year-old.
And while Fener have held talks with Salah’s agent, their conquerors this season, Galatasaray, have spoken to one of his teammates.
Milliyet claims that Gala have made contact with Virgil van Dijk and are willing to make Liverpool a decent offer for a player in the final year of his contract.
They add that the 34-year-old player ‘responded positively’ to the interest from Gala, who also contacted him last summer.
Liverpool have a new star defender arriving in the summer in Jeremey Jacquet, and may well be happy to get some cash for Van Dijk after a poor season.
