Having just missed out on becoming Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate at Juventus, Dusan Vlahovic won’t be taking up the option at Al Nassr.
The Juventus striker, who Thiago Motta is desperately trying to sell, has rejected an approach from the Saudi Pro League side.
Corriere dello Sport say that Vlahovic’s salary would have gone up from €12million a year to €20m, but he doesn’t want to move away from a top league and expects offers from England.
On top of that, they report that Ronaldo called him to convince him to join Al Nassr, but it didn’t do the trick.
Ronaldo left Juventus in 2022 after 101 goals in 134 games with Vlahovic arriving straight after to fill the gap up top.
However, the Serbian never recreated his stunning Fiorentina form and will have to try to do so elsewhere if Motta gets his way.
