‘You don’t deserve us’ – Caen ultras respond to Kylian Mbappe’s mum’s controversial interview

Kylian Mbappe’s mum’s interview about SM Caen has unsurprisingly not gone down well.

Fayza Lamari, who is also Mbappe’s agent at Real Madrid, made some shock comments in a local interview after Caen were relegated.

The side who were purchased by the Mbappe family in September 2024 have been relegated out of the top two professional tiers of French football for the first time since 1984.

Fans have attacked the ownership throughout the campaign, and even players have criticised their tenure.

Yet some banners directed at Lamari prompted her to consider selling the club, admitting she told Mbappe they ‘didn’t deserve them’.

In response, fans put up a new banner outside the club’s stadium which read: “Humbly, you don’t deserve us!”
