Stade Reims manager Will Still was in fine form as the press bombarded him with questions about a move to Sunderland.

The English-Belgian coach, who has also been linked with West Ham, travelled to meet with Championship high-flyers Sunderland, according to multiple reports.

Back in front of the media for the first time, he said: “You have created some very nice stories.

“It has been very hectic, and my phone hasn’t stopped ringing. I cannot deny the fact that there is interest in me; I confirm that. As there has been in the past, like this summer and these last few weeks.

“I find it quite flattering without being arrogant or pretentious at all, but for me, it stops there.”

Explaining his most recent trip to England, Still said: “I had to tell my players for the first time that I was in a relationship with someone who lived in London, and they made fun of me. Then we had our training session.

“I think I’m a loyal Eurostar customer because I’ve been making round trips every week for three or four months.

“If the Eurostar people hear me, I wouldn’t mind a loyalty bonus because I often take the Eurostar.”
