PSG beat Real Sociedad 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie, and the players were keen to credit Luis Enrique.
The Spanish side dominated the first 45 minutes away at the Stade de France, but PSG woke up and took a huge win thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappe and Bradley Barcola.
Asked what changed in the second half, Barcola said: “We started off rather badly, we were moved around a lot in the first half.
“The coach woke us up at half-time. It’s a sigh of relief, we know we’re starting with a good advantage for the return game but we still have work to do.”
Captain Marquinos added: “We had a lot of difficulties in the first half.
“It’s a team that has a lot of commitment and mobility, we knew it was going to be hard.
“We spoke at half-time, the coach pulled our ears off. Afterwards, it was better.
“What did the coach tell us? I’ll leave that in the locker room. He was very angry.
“He always tells us the truth. He motivated us a lot to have personality.”
