Lazio’s eagle may finally be able to fly again, or maybe not.
Ten months after making hilarious headlines worldwide when Juan Bernabé was sacked for posting pictures of his penis pump surgery, the Serie A side have finally announced a replacement.
Lazio have announced both a new eagle and handler called Giacomo Garruto, yet some social media posts from him in 2018 have quickly caused a stir.
According to Record, one post read: ‘how Italy misses you, Benito’, in a reference to Benito Mussolini, who led the National Fascist Party Italy.
On top of that, he posted a number of anti Lazio messages, including one that said the club was a ‘piece of s***’.
