Borussia Dortmund have announced the departures of Niklas Sule and Salih Ozcan as their summer clear out continues.
The pair join Julian Brandt in having their departures confirmed two months before the end of the season.
All three will leave on free transfers, with Brandt and Sule freeing up plenty of salary space.
Sule joined Dortmund in 2022 from Bayern Munich on a free transfer, signing a contract as BVB’s highest-earner.
That proved to be unwise with the defender struggling for form and weight issues after a decent first season.
The club said in a statement: “After four years in black and yellow, Niklas Süle’s time with Borussia Dortmund will come to an end this summer.
“BVB and Süle have mutually agreed to this.”
CEO Lars Ricken added: “We had very open and respectful discussions with both of them this week.
“In the end, we agreed with both Niklas and Salih to go our separate ways at the end of the season.”

Getting rid of free transfers early, BVB have also shown future planning from the other side.
This week they announced the re-signing of Felix Nmecha on a longer term deal, warding off interest from Manchester City and Bayern.
On top of that, Sky Germany claim they’re back in the race for Jadon Sancho, who will be available for free this summer and willing to take a paycut.
