Feyenoord have announced that Raheem Sterling has been cleared to train and play with the squad.
In a social update the Eredivisie side wrote: “Green light for Raheem. Work & residence permit approved.”
The update comes after Feyenoord ended up training in Belgium in order to circumvent work permit restrictions so they could integrate Sterling into the squad.
Social media footage shows that the Rotterdam side combined boxing and teqball in with their training sessions as part of Sterling’s integration.
On Friday head coach Robin van Persie is set to clarify if Sterling will feature against Telstar on Sunday.
Should he not, Twente are up next, a crucial match as Feyenoord try and secure Champions League football for next season.
