Niklas Sule’s move from Bayern Munich to Borussia Dortmund in 2022 continues to look like a bad one.
The Germany international, who hasn’t been selected for Euro 2024, could face sanctions from BVB if he doesn’t get his weight under control.
Sule was seen as a huge coup when he swapped between the Bundesliga rivals for €20million, but he’s gone from an automatic starter at Bayern to fourth choice at Dortmund.
Now, BILD report that he may not be a choice at all if he doesn’t get his weight under control.
The outlet claims that his current weight of 110kilos is 10kilos above his permitted limit, and that if he doesn’t return to an acceptable size in time for their training camp on July 10, he could face sanctions.
