Booooooooooooooooooooo!
Bayern Munich have ruined our fun by declaring that Jonas Urbig is ready to play against Atalanta tonight.
Both Sky and Sport1 report that the club have briefed the decision to the media ahead of their Champions League last 16 second leg against Atalanta.
The score is 6-1 from the first leg in Italy meaning the tie was all but over until a string of shocking injuries.
Manuel Neuer is already a long-term absentee, as is Bayern’s fourth-choice keeper from the youth team.
So when Urbig got concussed at the end of the first leg, there was concern until Sven Ulreich put in a fine display against Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend.
However, Ulreich was sent to the medical room and will also be out, leaving 16-year-old Leonard Prescott as the most likely fifth choice option.
Urbig now appears to have cleared any final concussion checks, robbing us of a potentially dramatic night at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern are still without Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies from the first leg, while Joshua Kimmich and Michael Olise appeared to pick up intentional yellow cards to clear their records.
Either way, if you’re hoping for a comeback, Tottenham vs Atleti will certainly be a safer bet.
