Endrick make it an outrageous five goals and an assist in five games since joining Lyon with an ridiculous strike in the Coupe de France.
Struggling to make it past Ligue 2 side Laval, the Real Madrid loanee broke the deadlock in the 80th minute, knocking a loose ball past a defender then unleashing a rocket that hit the net before the keeper could barely move.
Discussing the moment after the 2-0 win that sent OL to the quarter-finals, Endrick said: “It wasn’t an easy match on a pitch like that. I didn’t play well. But we were courageous.
“For the goal, I shot with all the rage I had, I cleared everything. I was wondering how we were going to score.
“It was perhaps the only chance I had in the whole match, and I put it away.
“Yes, that’s a bit of a characteristic of a number 9, it’s the shirt I wear, it’s the mark of a number 9 to shoot and score.”
Earlier in the week the Brazilian had been compared to Karim Benzema by Lyon great Cris, who saw the Frenchman excel as a youngster at OL before becoming a legend at Real Madrid.
Responding to the claims, the 19-year-old said: “That’s great for me. He’s a great player, an incredible player.
“He was the best in the world. But Karim is far ahead of me.”
Laval coach Olivier Frapolli was as impressed as anyone, though, despite his team putting in a great performance.
“Endrick certainly didn’t give our goalkeeper a chance to make the save,” he said.
“We managed him pretty well throughout the match; we decided to try and lock down the paint as much as possible.
“If Endrick had been on our side, maybe we would have won… In any case, we know that when Endrick gets going, he’s unstoppable.”
