Jose Mourinho had yet another night to forget as Benfica coach as he was knocked out of the Portuguese Cup by former side Porto.
A single goal from Jan Bednarek secured a 1-0 win and sent Benfica out of the quarter finals in the same week they exited the League Cup semis against Braga.
Hammering home the point, Porto ultras held up a banner which read: “The Special One has arrived… nothing has changed.”
Mourinho and Benfica’s chances of silverware now appear to be at an end.
Their only remaining competitions are in the Champions League where they’re currently not even in the league phase play-offs, and the Primeira Liga, where Porto are ten points ahead.
