Fresh off a Clasico hat-trick, Vinicius was in a brutally honest mood.
The Brazilian winger tore Barcelona to pieces in the Supercopa de Espana final, taking away a 4-1 victory.
It was only the second Clasico hat-trick in 23 years, and one of the rivalry’s greatest-ever performances.
However, speaking post-match the Real Madrid superstar was in no mood to pat himself on the back.
“I learn every day, trying to be a better person,” he said.
“Sometimes I want to give everything for the team and I end up failing everyone, rivals and teammates. I want to work on it.
“I’m not a saint, sometimes I talk too much or do dribbles that don’t work, but I’m here to set an example for the children watching me. I want to improve.”
